Her reluctant decision to serve female prisoners developed into a career, calling, and ministry that has since helped thousands of women leave prison behind for good. 4/17 – Sensible Shoes, by SW Michigan author Sharon Garlough Brown. This is a Goodreads top-rated book! It's the inspiring story of four strangers who reluctantly arrive at a retreat center and discover infinitely more than they'd expected.


5/15Finding God in a Bag of Groceries by Laura L. Willis. In a tiny food pantry, the author discovers her own hunger for God, and a world of neighbors she never knew: the lonely, unemployed, chronically poor, and middle-class folks surprised to be struggling in a great recession.
